Great place to stay, lovely...

Liked: Host very friendly, ensures your comfortable . breakfast is delicious . Have stayed before will book again.

Beautiful location

Liked: It's a beautiful place and great location for the events we regularly attend in the area.Nice breakfast. Arrived later than expected but easy instructions to access the property and room.
Disliked: Two out of three of us got stuck in the bathroom. Issue with the door / lock. We've stayed here before but we won't again. Arrived back after dinner to the owner in her dressing gown ordering us to move our cars so she could see them on the cctv. Three women, in two cars, it made us feel a bit unnerved and unsafe. Told that people would be coming and going during the night.

Exceptional

Liked: I had a fabulous overnight stay at Bamflatt. The hosts were very friendly, rooms very spacious and very very clean. The cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious. Bamflatt is situated in a very peaceful area and has wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. All in all a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Excellent value and very peaceful...

Liked: This is a lovely location not far off the M74 and set in pretty rolling countryside. The accommdation is new and been built to high expectations and the rooms large. Very well decorated and furnished. I was glad of some heating as it was chilly in t he evenings and had a peaceful view over the b ack garden to countryside beyond. Plenty of easy parking and everything very well landscaped and laid out. I was rather stunned really . Excellent breakfast Overall very good price.
Disliked: the staff are a little remote but otherwise not a lot - may be a few pots of colourful flowers!

Lovely B&B, shame about the...

Liked: This B&B is situated in stunning countryside with amazing views from every angle! The best part about Bamflatt was the beds, which were amazingly comfortable & we had a great nights sleep.
Disliked: I am really sorry to say that the breakfast was awful, which I am really surprised about considering all the positive reviews on it. There is a pre order system which I am not a fan of, as it is hard to decide the day before what you want in the morning. The continental option consisted of cereal, apricots, yoghurts & a prepackaged pastry, and the coffee was instant despite being served in a lovely coffee pot. We both had a full breakfast which neither of us enjoyed: the bacon had obviously been cooked & kept warm as it was hard, the tomato & potato scone were barely cooked, and sausage & black pudding weren’t very nice – all in all everything seemed of poor quality, and not locally sourced which you would expect from a B&B in this stunning location. It is such a shame as I really couldn’t fault anything else about Bamflatt, unfortunately the breakfast has put us off a return visit.
