Great vibes

Liked: Ambience, location, breakfast, valet parking and cleanliness
Disliked: Nothing really, would love a laundry to wash clothes but not many places do this any more and laundromat was only few 100 meters away

Superb hotel but don't come...

Liked: A delightful place with delightful staff. We arrived with car which is, in Rennes, an inadvisable thing to do. Spent an hour driving in circles round the inpenetrable one way systems, not more than a couple of hundred yards from hotel. Eventually parked in a space and walked there, somewhat frazzled and bad tempered. They were absolutely delightful. One of them volunteered to go and get the car. Got it. Sorted it. Wow!Hotel itself is lovely. Very elegant. All the right bits in the right places. Close to centre of town. Nothing to dislike. Everything to like.
Disliked: Hotel itself is great. However if you have a car I would suggest perhaps Rennes is best avoided as they take the concept of hostility to car drivers to a different and somewhat ridiculous level.
