Liked: location, staff and breakfast was great.

Liked: Good location, lovely staff, room was comfortable and the parking was free which is rare and a lovely touch
Disliked: Everything was great except the toilet was oddly located in the bathroom of our room, could do with a minor update but nothing to complain about.

A Comfortable Stay In Balmoral...

Liked: The room is neat and tidy. The TV has many streaming channels and I love the microwave, convenient to heat up food. Also there is a designated area for smokers. All the staffs are friendly.
Disliked: The signage at laundry room stated 8 am - 8 pm but I was told it will be closed at 6 pm instead. Fortunately, I brought enough clothes for change.

Disliked: This place was advertised as a 4-star hotel on Booking.com, but in reality, it's more like a basic motel. The building, room, and bathroom are all quite dated, and the hot water is difficult to adjust.We stayed for four nights. On one of the days, our towels weren't refreshed. On the public holiday, the room wasn't cleaned at all. If I had booked an Airbnb, I would understand this level of service—but again, this was advertised as a 4-star hotel. It feels like a scam. To make things worse, we had to wash our own dishes daily because the cleaner didn’t bother to do it. I’m usually a generous reviewer, but having stayed in many hotels across Australia and around the world, this is by far the worst "hotel" experience I've had.
