Balmoral Hotel Belfast

Apart from the above it...

Liked: The location was good. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The two lights over the twin beds didn't work which meant stumbling back from the light switch at the door in the dark.When I returned to the hotel on Sunday evening I couldn't get into my room as the card wouldn't open the door. At reception the woman told me I wasn't booked in for a second night. I knew I definitely had. (As your email here confirms)The receptionist redid the card so that it worked and my room was as I had left it but it was rather upsetting to be told I wasn't booked in and it would have been disastrous if the hotel had been fully booked up.

Would definitely stay again!

Liked: Staff were so friendly and attended to all needs. Room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable Breakfast was also lovely!
Disliked: Walls seemed very think as the person in the room next to us was being extremely loud and kept us awake.

Liked: The speed of being able to book. Staff were really polite and helpfulHad a big room.
Disliked: Nothing really all went very well. If I ever get back to N. Ireland, I will look up Barmoral first.

Liked: The hotel was beautiful, we were met by a young girl Sofia who was so friendly ,had a great big smile and made us feel so welcome and at home . She also helped us carry our bags up into the room ... nothing was a bother to her .. honestly the best reception ive ever experienced staying in a hotel .
Disliked: The room was so hot ... thier was a fan which was great but it only circulated the hot air around the room which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep , I did try to turn the radiator of . And you could fully open the window

Disliked: Small room (39), no coat hangers, no place to hang / put damp bath towels after use. When window was open due to the warm weather a smell of cooking from the kitchen was very strong in the room due to the Kitchen flue directly under the window.Restaurant staff spent too much time talking between themselves and not paying attention to customers needs when requiring further orders. The service overall was very slow.One particular restaurant staff was rude and had a “Don’t care” attitude, when I asked for the menu she more or less threw it on the table and walked away.
