Liked: We have visited this hotel many times and it never fails to deliver! We were absolutely spoilt from a fantastic room, great food, cocktails and breakfast had a huge choice of food. The reception staff were outstanding and could not be more cheerful and helpful. Well done to Phoebe, you looked after us so well
Disliked: Nothing, the perfect hotel

Disappointing

Liked: The food - this lived up to expectation. It was of a good quality and the restaurant staff were attentive.
Disliked: The room was supposed to be a superior room, we paid extra for that. It was far from that - for example the majority of the double glazed window pains were blown - giving the room a very much uncared for feeling. The decoration was tired and the size of the room was not as expected for a superior room.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: The room was very tatty and dirty. Breakfast had very limited options and had to wait multiple times for things to be restocked.

Best hotel in the New...

Liked: Lovely hotel, grounds, garden and wonderful new spa. The staff were polite and tentative, and the food was also 10/10. A lovely dog-friendly, clean hotel. The only letdown was that we were on the 3rd floor with no air conditioning in the room on a very hot weekend. The hotel did supply a very large fan in the room; however, I think an upgrade to get air conditioning units installed or small units in the room would really help. I would definitely come back for another visit. I loved the grounds, and it was so nice to spring out of bed and walk the dog in the grounds. I highly recommend the Hotel.
Disliked: No air conditioning. Some visitors were very loud at dinner and by the pool, with a gang of children running up and down and also managed to get into the spa area at one point. I gather this was a one off visit but it really did spoil the one night stay as i wanted piece and quiet. It was rather intimidating as i really wanted to relax in the outside pool; however, this was not possible. The staff did apologies the next day! which was nice.

Excelled my expectations. Excellently run...

Liked: I’ve always wanted to stay here as I’ve passed it many times when visiting the new forest and it didn’t disappoint.
Disliked: The view from the window wasn’t very good but we weren’t in the room very long for it to really bother us.

Disliked: Room a bit cramped and needs updating.
