Probably quite a nice hotel...

Liked: Location, staff and good food.
Disliked: Bed! Absolutely the worst. Terrible hard and uncomfortable.

Lovely comfortable hotel with friendly...

Liked: Friendly staff, great covered terrace and very good food in the restaurant for dinner.
Disliked: The breakfast was quite cold and kept running out of things in the buffet.We had lunch in the covered terrace prior to check in and paid for it with our debit card - luckily we kept a receipt as it was added to our final bill for some reason. Taken off after a check but if we didn't have our receipt I think it might have been difficult to prove.

A very relaxing and pleasant...

Liked: Beautiful location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The fan in our room wasn’t working properly and they were quick to bring us another. Reception & waiting staff were attentive, although this slipped a bit during the busy breakfast time. Lovely indoor & outdoor pool, ideal for families or individuals and a zip wire.
Disliked: It was a little tired and dated. Could do with a fresh coat of paint in places.

Nice venue mattress needs to...

Liked: Lovely venue and staff food was good and facilities. Bed was the worst i have slept on in a hotel both me and my girlfriend did not feel refreshed and struggle to sleep on the bed and the room was far too hot needs aircon the building was very warm in general
Disliked: Mattress and the heat in the room was far too much very uncomfortable sleep glad to be home In a nice bed

Pleasant stay but could have...

Liked: Location, indoor pool, quality of the food, rooms on 3rd floor were quiet.
Disliked: Some of the staff didn’t feel welcoming, hadn’t been informed a wedding was on the same night, very busy and wait on buffet cooked breakfast items.

You look the part but...

Liked: Room very tired Breakfast okay dinner good
Disliked: Staff needed to be trained in the bar and conservatory, wait long time for drinks, tables never cleaned after vacating.

Exceptional

Not our best trip

Liked: Breakfast.Continental selection was very good, cooked selection had a good choice but had issues with bacon ( quite tough if you get a piece that has been in warmer too long ) and fried eggs suffering for the same reason. Also, if we had wanted to serve ourselves we could have gone to a Premier Inn.Room. Room size was adequate and bed was comfortable. Disappointed with bathroom. We were given a Room with disabled facilities and neither of us are. We thought that was unwarranted. We booked through Booking.com so assumed the room reflected the lower price we presumably paid. Neither of us like confrontation so decided to keep things to ourselves but since you've asked.
Disliked: We have been coming to the New Forest for nearly 40 years with our children, and latterly on our own, and had decided that this would be our last time. The 6 hour drive down is getting too busy to be enjoyable. We thought we would spoil ourselves and stay in the place we had passed so many times on our travels through the forest. Sadly for us it was not the trip of a lifetime.
