Tahoe is a beautiful place....

Liked: Location and size of rooms
Disliked: We had an issue with hot water and called the front desk. We were told they would send someone, but three calls and 40 mins later we went down and finally got a room change. They wanted to charge us for the room change request as well as for the valet parking service that we did not use. They finally did not, although they charged more than I expected. The hotels that I booked in Tahoe and Vegas’s through booking.com have charged a lot more than what booking said.

Disliked: we had no maid service, del sol was only serving cold sandwiches

Try a VRBO or Air...

Liked: Location good, room was large but lacked any good furniture like a maybe a large chair. Lots of unused space. Looked and felt rather odd. We had one buffet chair.
Disliked: Your fees are overwhelming. I know you are just like everyone else here but why can’t you and Booking state the fees clearly and UP FRONT? 50 dollars a night for deposit hopefully we will get that returned. 30 dollars resort fee? Come on and 20 dollars for parking a night. Overwhelmed and hadn’t even got to the room.

Disliked: there was no microwave and no maid service at all. Also no help with luggage when leaving the facility.

Liked: I loved the view of Lake Tahoe and the room we had was cute.
Disliked: No complaints. Except there was no laundry room or microwave and we got a water bottle worth $5. That’s a complaint BUT also we don’t mind the no laundry room it gave us a reason to go out and explore Lake Tahoe area. As for the microwave we really only needed it to heat up food we already had but again it gave us a reason to explore our options. I was on a little bit of a budget that day but if I wasn’t I honestly wouldn’t have no complaints, the staff and everything else was so nice and my little sister in-law loved it there.

Disliked: Television did not work in room. No hot water in shower- called and was told to run water in sink for 15 minutes then try shower again. Non smoking room smelled like smoke.
