Loved the hotel

Liked: A real castle attached to the hotel and lovely gardens in the back. Right along the coastline. Gorgeous scenery. The room was large with a very comfortable king. We had a room facing the water and it was great. Large bathroom, had a safe but no fridge. Also had bathrobes to use. We had a light dinner but it was very good. Would stay here again
Disliked: Breakfast was too expensive.

Perfect hotel for a quick...

Liked: Locations was great and the place was buzzing with life but not overly crowded or loud.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The view was not great, but the room was large and comfortable with a king bed and full bath. Very quiet. Many of the sea facing rooms under renovation looked small, so we were very happy with ours. Grounds are very nice and parking is convenient. Great location next to beach about a 10 minute drive from Larne. The ghost room and castle portion have an interesting history. Breakfast buffet is pricy, but Bushmills on porridge starts the day right.
Disliked: Dining room is pricy and food is mediocre.

Liked: Dining in the restaurant was a wonderful experience. Excellent food and excellent and efficient staff. The bedroom was very comfortable and relaxing to be in and the bar/lounge area also brilliant.There was simply nothing that wasn't exceptional and that included the beauty of the gardens and views of Ballygally bay.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike. Everything was beyond what you would expect.
