Liked: We loved the comfy bed and the location. The breakfast was also great!
Disliked: We liked everything

Pleasant stay in small hotel.

Liked: Breakfast was ok, small hotel so not extensive continental breakfast.
Disliked: Soundproofing in rooms not great. Wooden floors meant you heard chairs scraping when being moved.

Liked: Balcomie Hotel was great, beds comfortable, clean, tidy, staff welcoming, breakfast a delight.
Disliked: Stay was too short!!!!

Liked: It was in a nice area,quite and a good location for the avent we were going to.
Disliked: The cooked breakfast was cold. The room was not replenished with tea,coffee, or milk for when we returned .

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful...

Liked: The hotels location was excellent. Very peaceful at night and so comfortable, great sleep. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Great relaxing break at a gorgeous hotel.

Very expensive for the limited...

Liked: Room was large. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast times were very restrictive and food was mediocre

Just on the edge of...

Liked: Period hotel in a good location. Very comfortable bed and pillows and large shower en-suite. Very friendly helpful young lady at check in and serving in restaurant.
Disliked: Seemed to be having problems with their catering. Some items on the dinner menu were not available. Same with sourdough toast at breakfast.For what it was, I feel the accommodation was overpriced by about 20%.
