Amazing welcoming staff - great...

Liked: Lovely restaurant, breakfast was great. The staff were outstanding- as a solo diner you can feel a little out of place but they made such an effort to make me feel comfortable & welcome
Disliked: The room was maybe a little tired but fine for one night

Friendly and comfortable but eat...

Liked: Our room was very comfortable. the shower room was good and the shower great (though I was hoping for a bath!)Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The food in the evening was pretty naff. I had a steak and ale pie that was fairly watery but not a hint of ale in it. very 'canteen' rather thatn restaurant. The drinks making area in the room was dangerous. In a tight corner on a low table above electrics.
