Great value, comfy motel

Liked: The room, while dated, was comfortable, clean and quiet. Though we could hear sounds from neighbouring rooms, it wasn't disruptive. My husband did sleep with earplugs, but I didn't and slept fine. The bed was very comfortable with lush linen and plump pillows. The shower had great water pressure and very hot water. It was useful to have a microwave, kettle and toaster to fix some easy breakfasts in the mornings. It's in a convenient part of town and an easy walk to the town centre.
Disliked: There is a steep slope to walk up to get to the rooms, which can be a bit challenging walking on, especially when it's wet. The old room and bathroom facilities were a bit confronting at first, but it grew on us over time, and it was comfortable where it counted (bed, shower). As you can hear some sounds from adjourning rooms, your experience can be impacted by inconsiderate neighbours.

Liked: Great spot, walking distance to most things and good access to train station! Super helpful and friendly staff. While the place is dated, it is well maintained, clean, and comfortable! Great value! Definitely recommend
