Lovely stay, Highly recommend.

Liked: Very friendly & helpful receptionist.Lovely rooms & grounds are beautiful.Breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: Room was very warm, even in April but there was air conditioning which we had to put on through the night.

A beautiful countryside (but city...

Liked: The room was lovely and clean, slippers and robes provided. The tea selection was good and we appreciated the mini fridge with real bottles of milk. The breakfast was delicious, the buffet cooked breakfast as well as the continental option and the menu items were all delicious and plentiful. The location for exploring Bath is superb, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive (opposite side of the road to get into the centre) which took approx 15 mins to get to the city. Our evening meal in The Conservatory was lovely and relaxed, with a great wine list. Easy to get to the hotel from the motorway, and the staff were super helpful being that there was a half marathon blocking the town the following morning. For the price, our stay was great and we felt truly refreshed after our comfortable sleep.
Disliked: The veggie sausages at breakfast were like dry cardboard, that is my only reservation about the meals we ate. The shower also steamed up the bathroom so much that there was water dripping everywhere, including from the ceiling which made everything very wet!

Liked: The breakfast was very good and service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel staff always went the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable.
Disliked: For the price of the hotel would have excepted a swimming pool. The hotel has the land to create a fitness center with a swimming pool.
