Liked: It is advertised with the old building but most of the rooms are behind in a new, purpose built wing. Still we had no problem with this, the room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was very good. The location is optimal: the city center is like 2 kms but there is also a bus.
Disliked: Matress could be better and I am not a big fan of taking a shower while standing in a bathtube...

Liked: Superb in every way. Stunning setting, huge rooms, ice cold AC, great bar and restaurant, easy to get into bath, super relaxing setting, great breakfast, and absolutely wonderful team - friendly, attentive and personable - huge credit to everyone there.

Very comfortable and tranquil hotel...

Liked: The room was excellent and the beds incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was very good. We had some dinner in the bar and that was delicious. However what stood out for us was the staff. They were absolutely superb, exceedingly helpful, attentive, charming, polite and delightful.
Disliked: We stayed for just one night and arrived early evening and left after breakfast so we didn't get to use a lot of the facilities but there was nothing we experienced that was not fine.

Hidden Gem

Liked: Loved everything.
Disliked: How did I not know about this place before? I grew up in Bath! Beautiful grounds, great food, lovely rooms and very helpful staff. It was the best surprise of our trip to the UK. Will stay again!
