Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach- A DoubleTree By Hilton

I loved it. I loved the location and the hotel itself.

Liked: The hotel itself, the location and the staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Panther weekend at Bahia Mar

Liked: The location is hard to beat for the price. Anything you need is in easy walking distance Go Panthers!
Disliked: The elevators are pretty slow, we waited 15+ minutes for one a couple different times- but the hotel was at FULL capacity for our trip, so that could be a factor.

Disliked: Balcony was tiny, no room to sit. Vending machine for snacks stole my $$, snack stuck in machine. Front desk did not answer when I called to fix the problem. Also, beach towels not available after 5 pm. We had just got there at 4, asked where we get beach towels, went to get them and were too late

Disliked: Having to wait til 4:00 to check in. Two days prior to arrival a call was made seeking early check in due to an early appointment and was assured that it was no problem.

Liked: Location was the best and all the amenities
Disliked: The bar at the pool closed too early and they ran out of towels at the pool. The price was high but the experience was priceless

Disliked: I didn’t like that the property did not find my reservation, my name was spelled incorrect, there was hidden fees.

Liked: Location walking distance to beach, eateries, & multiple entertainment options.
Disliked: Price was a little high & could not get room temperature just right.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location and in walking distance of the beach, restaurants and bars.
Disliked: The hotel is decent, but it’s an older hotel and it could use some updating. Also we thought there was an actual balcony, but it turned out to be a “juliet” style balcony. Overall I expected a little more for the price.
