Central location, you get what...

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Backpackers Central. The kitchen had everything we needed in it to make dinner and was quiet clean. We had a private room with ensuite, it was a large room with double bed and desk. There was a fridge too which was a bonus as we stayed 2 nights and needed somewhere to store lunch. The bathroom had a decent shower, the hot water was great and didn't cut out and there was linen (towels and bedding) and some soap bars provided. The location was fairly close to the centre and there was parking on site although it was limited. Tip: if you arrive just at 7pm you get 1 hour free parking on the road and then it's free road parking after 8pm until 8am the next day, you would have to arrange a late check in though and would only do this if parking is likely to be full. Although we did stay in winter so was surprised it was that busy.
Disliked: The wardrobe had a faint scent of some kind of food in there so didn't try and leave any clothes in there. The overall cleanliness of the room, particularly the linen could have been better as there were some interesting stains on the towels but you could bring your own if you are bothered. The bathroom was generally clean although I wouldn't give it a close inspection.

Liked: Free coffee + water, it was so clean, plus the shower had great pressure, I couldn't believe how clean it was. Had secure carpark off road, very quiet.
Disliked: There was not much I didn't like. I watched TV in the morning, it had heater as it was very cold.

Disliked: Mattresses not comfortable.

Liked: Very good backpackers. Clean. Very good kitchen facilities. Great lounge. Comfy bed and rooms are very warm.
