Liked: The location and views
Disliked: The shower started dripping in the middle of the night and wouldn’t stop on both nights, the breakfast took nearly an hour to make- despite there only being 6 tables in the dining room.

Liked: This was my second stay here and I loved it just as much as the first time. I will say I preferred the attic floor room that I had on my first stay over the third floor room that I had this time, but both rooms were wonderful and very comfortable. All of the staff here are lovely, helpful, and kind. Breakfast was great and we were able to store our luggage after checkout before getting our train. I will definitely be back again on my next trip to Edinburgh.

I did enjoy my couple...

Liked: The property was located in a quiet corner of central Edinburgh, well connected and close to all the popular spots. It is also right next to the Water of leith which is another tourist spot.
Disliked: The property is quite old with creaky wooden floors, a loft that is outdated, slow and a bit rickety. Overall the house has character and grandeur but it needs some renovation and modernisation. Breakfast as well, while lovely on the plate, the service can be improved. Everyone tried their best but you could see the strain off service on the faces of the staff. I did enjoy my couple of days in the property but do think there is some room for improvement.

Liked: Perfect location with an amazing view from room window. The vegan breakfast options were fantastic.

Good location and value for...

Liked: This was our second stay at B+B Edinburgh so we knew the layout of the hotel. The library was a lovely place to sit, read and enjoy a drink.
Disliked: The size of the big breakfast seemed to have shrunk and the removal of the complimentary hot drinks machine in the lobby was disappointing. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and the location is ideal.

Totally worth the stay

Liked: An amazing staff (especially Caitlin), beautiful building. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a beautiful view to the castle and Edinburgh in general. Amazing breakfast.
