Liked: Overall, this hotel is a good option for an overnight stay. It’s quiet, clean, and the breakfast — by American standards — was surprisingly tasty.
Disliked: However, there was one major downside: the breakfast staff, specifically a woman named Paola (or possibly Daola). On our first morning, we arrived at 8:30 AM and noticed that many items were already gone. On the second day, we came at 8:40 AM and again found several items missing — especially the waffle mix, which my family was looking forward to.When I politely asked Paola if there would be a refill, she responded rudely, saying, “No, there won’t be any more. I’m not making anything else — we’re closing soon.” I reminded her that breakfast is served until 9:00 AM and there were still 10 minutes left. She scoffed and walked away without offering any solution.Another guest standing beside me also witnessed this and we both went to speak with the manager. The front desk staff (Christina, I believe) told us that they hadn’t finished unloading the delivery and would happily restock — but this was clearly not true. Paola made it very clear that she was simply getting ready to close and wasn’t interested in helping guests anymore.What’s worse, Paola acted annoyed whenever anyone approached her, as if we were bothering her in her own kitchen. She even had headphones in and was listening to music during service — completely inappropriate for someone working with guests.This kind of attitude does not belong in hospitality. I sincerely urge hotel management to take this matter seriously. Staff like Paola are not suitable for guest service and can damage the reputation of an otherwise nice hotel.
