Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

Very nice and comfortable hotel. We would stay there again.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty, comfortable and easy to find.
Disliked: Only negative was they were not accommodating with their shuttle on the Sunday night that we were going to a concert at the Orange County Fair. That shuttle service was the deciding factor as to why we chose that hotel on that particular weekend.

Expensive, Outdated & Smells of...

Liked: Close to where my work training was
Disliked: Not worth the steep cost! Room smelled moldy/musty and carpet, drapes and furniture were all super old and out dated. The room service food was horrible, I didn’t even eat it (and insanely overpriced), and paying $24 for overnight parking on top of being a guest at the hotel is just greedy in my opinion. I definitely won’t be back.

Liked: The location was perfect allowing us to explore Newport, Balboa, and Huntington Beach. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant and really enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The airport shuttle was a nice bonus.

Disliked: If the heavy part of the bedroom drapes could close for a darker room
