Good hotel for shower and...

Liked: Close to airport, great shower. Shuttle picks you up from terminal and takes you back for free.
Disliked: I booked this hotel because it showed there was free breakfast but that wasn’t the case when we went to go have breakfast and that I had to pay extra.

A little disappointed

Liked: Shuttle was prompt, both ways, although you do have to book in the morning. Clean, quiet & good location. We didn't have the buffet breakfast available as we had an early flight.
Disliked: It doesn't have a restaurant or bar on site - these are at the adjoining sister hotel Axor Barajas. We were told the restaurant next door opened at 8.30pm when we asked. There were accordingly to TripAdvisor, a number of bars & restaurant nearby but it was 37° outside & we were tired from travelling, so didn’t fancy venturing out. The bar & restaurant next door were very good, although opening earlier would have been better, especially as they are catering for mainly travellers who will not be used to hours Madrilainers usually eat. We saw quite a few families venture out rather than wait for the restaurant to open. Axor is missing out here!
