Liked: Excellent location, near the U-Bahn and the gay village. Breakfast was excellent value
Disliked: Only criticism was that only one lift was working which caused congestion but otherwise all good

Return Visit to Axel Hotel

Liked: - The room was alright and bed and pillows comfortable.- Appreciated the room which comes with the bathtub.- Breakfast menu was good and could select what I wanted to have.- Walking distance to metro and some pubs and restaurants around. Small shop just next to the hotel.- Fabien from Reception is friendly and nice person
Disliked: - The Steam/Sauna could have been opened until midnight.- May be the rooftop could have remained opened at night but was closed.- The Blue Towel provided to be used for the Steam/sauna.Jacuzzi is not so water absorbant.- It can be confusing and bump into the walls with the mirror in the corridor especially at night with less light.

Good location and friendly staff

Liked: The staff was amazing and the location ia good. I was upgraded to Junior suite by Roksana, whose customer service is excellent and she is very friendly.
Disliked: The previous comments already state that the hotel would need a lot of inner renovation, the look of the rooms and surfaces are a bit outdated and worn out. The shower was a glass box in the middle of the room, which is not very modern.

Liked: Nice located in near of metro station, safe for queer people. Suite was big enough.
Disliked: Rooms shows already years of using it. Black colour is out of date and you see every stains on it. And the rooms looks like more smaller than its actually is. Bathtube with pressure was nice touch - but it needs to be cleaned! Inside!
