Liked: So many positive points for this iconic Axel Hotel : great location, remarkably beautiful historical building, with stores, cafes, supermarkets right across the street. The rooms are lofty and commodious. Cleaning staff are very efficient and always present on every floor. Beds are comfortable. Rooftop pool is a plus. So is the gym downstairs—and that’s a real gym and not just a few machines we are talking about. Great vibes and atmosphere. Definitely incomparable. The reception staff are charming. Special thanks to Joaquin for being so accommodating, helpful and always very friendly.
Disliked: Nothing.

2 star hotel, not 4.

Disliked: We couldn’t get our room when we got there, even though it was after 15 o’clock.. had to wait and no compensation.. the door to the room couldn’t close properly, and the entire bathroom floor whole be full of water after a short. And everything was just so old and a bit broken.. it definitely don’t have 4 stars.. maybe 2..
