Hostel conditions for 4 star...

Liked: The location was very close to the train station and Tivoli Gardens.
Disliked: The thin, uncomfortable mattress. Best they could offer was a thin mattress protector, and if I hadn't bumped into the housekeeper in the lift, we wouldn't have got that as reception had given her the wrong room number... There was talk of a change of room but never followed up on by reception... No sheets on bed? Just a small duvet... The constant noise at night, music, - I had to call reception at one point at 545am .Women having a screaming fight on a balcony at 2am. I'd requested a quiet room! Can't imagine what a standard room must have to endure.The inability to have a hot shower with constant changes in water temperature (being frozen or losing a layer of skin) Is this part of the eco policy? Make sure you don't spend more than 3 minutes in the shower? Staff were aloof and didn't follow up on the above issues.They did try to change me 30 euros for a breakfast that someone else received and either gave our room number or it was misheard by staff. Correct room numbers appear to be an issue for them.I did email the hotel directly regarding all of the above but have received no response to date. Sadly, I had paid in advance for our three night stay, I wish now I'd checked out after the first night and insisted on a refund as much hassle as finding alternative accommodation would have been. I might have at least got some sleep while in Copenhagen.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The value for the size of the room is excellent.
Disliked: The neighbor in which the hotel is located has a lot of litter and broken glass.

Liked: Excellent hotel, great location plus good atmosphere.
Disliked: My room had wooden slatted blinds which did a poor job of blocking out the light. Room was fairly bright at 4am.The bed creaked loudly every time I turned over, as did the floor when walking on it. I felt sorry for the people in the room below if it kept them awake.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location. Outstanding breakfast. Really cool vibe. Great for meeting up with friends and hanging out. My room was very small but it had everything I needed. Loved and appreciated the little extras that made this place special: water bottle, lovely smellies etc
Disliked: I felt I was a tad invisible to the reception staff on occasion (maybe I just wasn't cool enough :) )
