Re-opened in June 2014 after an extensive renovation 3-star AXA Hotel was built in the early 1930s in a Functionalist style in a central Prague location 3.6 feet from Wenceslas Square. Free WiFi is available and for surcharge guests can use a swimming pool sauna fitness center and sun bed. The modern and bright rooms at Hotel AXA come with a flat-screen satellite TV a seating area and a bathroom. There is no air condition in the rooms. During summer months fans are available upon request. Bílá Labuť Tram Stop is only steps away the Florenc Bus Station is 984 feet away and the Palladium Shopping Center is 1312 feet away. It is 1476 feet to the Masarykovo Train Station and 0.6 mi to Prague Main Train Station. Prague Airport is 6.8 mi away with transfers available at an additional cost. In 2014 the building was declared a cultural monument by the Czech Ministry of Culture.

I would not book that...

Liked: The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The bed was not very comfortable and the pillow was too big and made my neck hurt. I asked whether they had any other type of pillow and they said no. I then asked for a pillow case so I could put a settee pillow in it as it was smaller. So I used this but it was not very comfortable.It would have been better if they left the breakfast area open so that you could get a coffee and the options for the breakfast changed every day. They only had baked beans once and the sausages were not very nice.

Advisable place!

Liked: Very clean rooms, nice location, good breakfast, nice behaving staff.
Disliked: Cushion was very big and one piece (I would prefer two cushions with standard size). This affected my sleeping comfort. However I did not mention this issue to the staff, maybe they could help on that.
