AWA Hotel

Good value for money, good...

Liked: Good breakfast (not included). Small but comfortable room, quiet. Location very convenient for those arriving by air or rail (3 mins walk from main station). Air con worked.
Disliked: The streets around the hotel are a but down-market.Note that at present (2025) central Munich is covered in major works for a new underground rail line. Sometimes one or even both of the rail links to the airport aren't working -need to check specific dates in advance.

Disliked: The air-conditioning was not working so the staff offered a fan to cool down the room.

Liked: The property was clean and offered a good breakfast with eggs made to order.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the hotel is located on a not very nice street. We did not feel comfortable being out at night.
