Very good, re-furbished room with a great view of the bridge. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again!

Great spot for breakfast
Liked: Venue is great, the view of the bridge us excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order...probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. The staff are very helpful
Disliked: Bar prices are a little in the high side

Passable

Exceptional
Disliked: £25 for our dog to stay with us is a bit over the top in my opinion. £10 is more appropriate!

Disappointing and wouldn’t return
Liked: The position is great but despite being persuaded to upgrade our room we didn’t really feel that the view justified the extra expenditure
Disliked: The hotel smelled of cooking smells everywhere and wasn’t fresh and clean. Our room was dusty and looked very tired

Having stayed at many of...
Liked: Location
Disliked: The big terrace is part of the White Lion pub (which is part of the hotel). Which means the hotel bar and hotel restaurant doesn’t have access. The car park is small, on steep hill, and is a 2 minute walk to the front of the hotel. They also charge £12/day. Standard room was small and dark with a nice bathroom. After ordering breakfast on Sunday morning we waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. It was very nice when it came.
