Disliked: Gone a bit premier inn with shampoo in wall dispensers and key card holders to turn the electric onThe restaurant tables are so knackered they look like they have not been cleaned, not good for a £20 breakfast!

Very good and would definitely...

Liked: Great location, nice food, friendly staff, good value for money.
Disliked: Slightly stingy in the room facilities - we had to keep ringing reception for more teabags. 2 teabags won't keep 2 adults going for a weekend! These small things make a difference to how luxurious somewhere feels.

there was no mention of...

Liked: Room good but there was no mention of scaffolding outside the window.Breakfast service was excellent (small Asian lady was the server)
Disliked: The breakfast was not freshly cooked and poor quality.

Enjoyable but not best value...

Liked: Great location - excellent views from terrace over the suspension bridge and Avon Gorge. Clifton village delightful - full of great cafes and restaurants- buzzing.
Disliked: So gloomy! The lighting is dreadful and on top of the dark decor is quite depressing. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and main shower packed up on second morning.
