Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin

Very good, re-furbished room with a great view of the bridge. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again!

Hotel was first class, rooms...

Liked: Location was excellent, right where I needed to be. My room was excellent, clean and in first class condition. Shower was lovely and all amenity’s were there. Staff were polite and very helpful.
Disliked: Parking was difficult, arrived at the hotel to check in and had to park on double yellow lines as there isn’t anywhere to pull up, once id checked in was told that there wasn’t any parking available on site even though the hotel had its own parking area around the back of the hotel, only on street parking was available, I wasn’t impressed as I had some valuable items in my vehicle, so to be parking 2 streets away and leaving my vehicle was not the greatest start, but as I came out to my vehicle a kind employee came out and said I could use the hotel car park… so I was very grateful and he directed me to a parking spot round the back of the hotel which I thought was very nice of him. Left my vehicle there for the duration of my stay (2 days), came to check out and was charged for the car park….. What a rip off… and I had to clear broken glass away from the car parking bay, didn’t fancy coming back to a flat tyre.
