Avon Causeway Hotel

Very good

Liked: Very good breakfast, friendly staff and attentive service. Room comfortable and clean. Our 8 year old loved the play equipment in the garden.
Disliked: Limited dinner choices on the Sunday we were there, as there was no roast dinners left when we arrived (5:15pm). Kitchen closes early on Sundays (6pm).

Brilliant hotel and incredible value...

Liked: This hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked it for a work trip and paid £88 for the night including a genius discount. Firstly, nice big amount of parking which is great as I had a large van. Check in was nice and easy and staff showed me to my room. Room was decorated nicely and very cosy, freshly baked cookies in a jar with the coffee area which was a nice touch, and proper coffee grounds to make your own coffee rather than rubbish instant. Room was very clean and so was the bathroom, which was a decent size for what I paid. Food and drink was nice as ate there for dinner, breakfast was good in the morning too, could order anything from the menu rather than typical buffet style. All round great hotel and would highly recommend.
Disliked: This would not stop me for coming back, but I would say that the food and drink was a little bit expensive. I paid £33 for two beers and a burger, and the breakfast seemed expensive when looking at the menu, however it was included for me with my room. Food was very tasty however, but maybe something to plan ahead for if staying on a budget.

Liked: Location is excellent room was 5*bed big and comfy food was good
Disliked: The weather it rained most of the time but spent time in the bar so not to sad

Liked: Breakfast was excellent Staff were amazing and extremely helpful, kind and friendly Dinner in the pub was good quality The bed was super comfortable and had lovely little touches with the coffee facilities and fresh milk
Disliked: Just a shame that the rooms are very tired and need some investment into

Exceptional

Good value, great staff.

Liked: Lovely stop for one night whilst travelling through. Rooms clean, bed comfy. Breakfast superb. The staff really make this place as they were so accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Breakfast included in stay price but having to pay extra on the day for a full English £4.00 per day

Comfortable and friendly place to...

Liked: Spacious room, comfortable, clean, not noisy. Liked having fresh milk for our room, coffee also good. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Shower was good but difficulty getting in and out of bath(age!)

Will never go again and...

Liked: Out side space was okay.
Disliked: Claustrophobic. Small room. Too noisy. Overlooking the car park. Overall, we had a bad time.
