Excellent stay

Liked: It was overall a really nice hotel and the breakfast was really good! Friendly staff.
Disliked: I had ordered a standard king size bed and ended up getting two queen beds, I didn’t go back to the staff about the problem but would like next for them to double check.

Beautiful European style hotel that...

Liked: We were stationed in Germany for 14 years and this hotel made us feel like we were back in Europe. It was immaculately clean with unique styling and charm. The room was large with a huge big screen TV, comfortable beds, and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was good with many selections like mini omelets, bagels, fresh ground coffee, fruits, cereals, juices, and breakfast bars. Location was great as it's close to Memphis without the security and safety concerns. Staff was friendly and their recommendation of One & Only BBQ was the best brisket we've ever had! It was an outstanding value as our stay was over Memorial Day weekend and they didn't jack up their prices like other hotels did. Highly recommended!
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel!

Liked: The location and the newness.
Disliked: The room phones did not work either night of the 2 night stay. There was not bath soap in the shower dispenser. I had to go down to get assistance. The front desk presentation should be BETTER. They are the front thing a person notice. We like the concept. Please follow up on the guest service desk. The hotel is nice and new. A very nice location. It was not a bad stay. However it was an inconvenience to come down from your room to get assistance. This could cause a none repeat of staying with AVID.
