Liked: Whenever I come to Lancaster for a quick weekend, stay by myself I usually stay at Event because of the cost. Because there’s no carpet in the room, it gives the illusion that the room is cleaner in my opinion. Bathroom is always clean, bed is comfortable in the location is perfect.
Disliked: This may have been a one time thing, but I felt as though someone was trying to enter my room at 9 AM. Typically housekeeping will come in if it’s close to check out, but this was before. I was awoken from my sleep, and this person did have a key card. But the security measure on the door borrowed them from entry. I was very tired for my night so did not get up to investigate nor reported

Customer service excellent- need better...

Liked: Good place close to all we wanted to do while we were in town. The Hostess, DeDe was simply amazing with her attention to detail and her resilience in fixing my issue with booking us a room that someone already was in. This lady is true customer service expert and keep us calm while she was quick to resolve it.
Disliked: The whole place was swarming with children and running all over the lobby. Coffee was watered down and overfilled the cups everytime. Breakfast was nothing hot and couldn’t get to it with all the kids in the lobby and eating at the time we were there.

Not interested in staying there...

Liked: I was not able to stay. My husband could not breathe because of the pollen and the higher elevation of the place. We checked out after going to the room 5 to 10 mins after being there. The attendant told me that I would be able to get a discount because of the early check out. I called a week after when I did not get a refund. The person who answered said that I was not entitled to a credit for a different night nor was I getting a refund.
Disliked: The customer service part.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay...

Liked: I stayed at this hotel with my three young kids and we had a great experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout our stay. The pool was a hit with the kids and added a lot of fun to our trip.
Disliked: Our room faced a busy road, so there was a bit of noise from outside, but it wasn't too disruptive. One thing to note for families with young children: the hand soap, body wash, and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom are installed quite high, which made them hard for my kids to reach.
