Liked: William, Iesha, and the other former staff that left during our stay were very nice and accommodating.
Disliked: The circumstances around our stay was a nightmare from beginning to the end. This is a new hotel although it looks nice, it could improve in so many ways. Within 24 hours of our stay, we had to transfer to 3 rooms because the first room wasn?t clean, the second room one of the beds smelled really bad and the bed didn?t have clean sheets, blanket, and pillows. The hotel kept charging my debit card with different amounts damn near everyday that totaled in to $1045.00 with another attempted that was blocked in the amount of $344. I spoke with several staff members concerning this including both General Manager Brian and Asst. Manager Tiffany. I was PROMISED not one but two discounts that I didn?t receive along with points toward my hotel rewards- never received it. On, the last day of my stay, I had to freeze my card which was an inconvenience because I needed to do things with the card but were unable, too. Thank goodness that I had a credit card but another attempt was made from the hotel but because my debit card was froze, it didn?t go through. I was very nice and polite to all staffs that were there during the duration of my stay. I have never encountered this much problem at any motel or hotel EVER. After all was said and done I was charged a lesser amount of the original amount but without the discounts that was promised. Last month, when the amount was posted to my checking account, I called the hotel to speak to the general manager Brian. He seemed as if he wasn?t too happy to hear from me although I was once again nice and polite with him during the phone call. I told him about the discounts that him and Tiffany promised. He asked me for my email address and told me that it would take sometime to figure it out and abruptly got off the phone with me. Thank goodness that I saved all the informations that I had because he never got back to me. I think it?s ashamed that you have dishonest people managing a hotel like that.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. The walls in the hotel were paper thin and noise from the hallway and adjoining rooms was easily heard in our room.

When I stay in Hattiesburg,...
Liked: You gain confidence that it?s a nice place upon pulling up and seeing the outside of the building. You notice that it?s clean as soon as you walk in. The staff is highly attentive and cordial. The room was cool as soon as we walked in?and it got more than cool enough for a good sleep. The pull-down shade over the window blocked out light perfectly. They had a great selection of quick breakfast options: bagels, Jimmy Dean biscuits, cereal, fruit, and a few other things, plus, a 24-hour coffee bar; and it?s in a nice lobby with plenty of chairs and tables. And there?s a sufficient market with the essentials (coke, snacks, toiletries).
Disliked: Let?s not call it dislike, but a recommendation:Ask for black tape upon your arrival. This is to put over very bright (and sometimes flashing) lights on a smoke detector and what looked to be a motion detector.
