Liked: When we arrived we were looking forward to our tent experience. But the unexpected 100 degree temps were stifling. With a smile and a sense of humor the camp desk clerk found an upgrade to an air conditioned Airstream which had air conditioning, saving the day.

I never leave reviews but...

Liked: AutoCamp Cape Cod is a very special place and would stay here again but share this feedback to help others have a more enjoyable stay.
Disliked: For arrival, it would be nice to know you can pull up to the lodge for check in and park afterwards, especially after a 9 hour drive. We didn’t know where to go and there are multiple parking lots so we brought everything with us for check in and had to carry everything back, then move the car to our designated camp site lot. On our last night we left our windows open in the Airstream not realizing noseeums were a prevalent bug in Cape Cod. We rented the Airstream because it had air conditioning but the weather was perfect and the air was not needed so opened all the windows since they had screens. We woke up at 4am from painful bug bites and thought they were bed bugs. We learned they were noseeums but had never heard of them before. They were literally everywhere in our Airstream and had to pack up everything and leave as soon as possible. We wish this was communicated through educational signage throughout the camp, like you see when hiking if yellow jackets are on high alert. We would have kept the windows shut to avoid them. It sadly ruined our overall experience and AutoCamp is not a cheap option. We are also still suffering from 25+ noseeum bites each five days later. I don’t think bug spray would have helped either, not with the amount of them.

Incredible spot!

Liked: We absolutely loved the campground, especially the clubhouse and area around it. The staff were INCREDIBLY kind and very proactive in making sure we were taken care of, fires were lit, the kids had s'mores sticks and hot chocolate. We throughly enjoyed our stay!
Disliked: We'd never used a compressed log, not our favorite way to have a campfire.

Everything I had hoped for...

Liked: It was absolutely beautiful! Everything that I expected based on the pictures.
Disliked: A Montessori school had booked a private event with dozens of rambunctious children who swarmed the clubhouse, making it difficult to access and enjoy the amenities we were hoping to enjoy.
