Liked: This is one of the most atmospheric hotels! It’s in the building of a former convent, and that tells. Our room was also very nice, beautiful, clean, with very good beds. The location can’t be better — it’s right on the main square of Linz.
Disliked: I’d love to have a kettle in the room, and mini-fridge would be good, too.

Familiar comfort in the heart...

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere – just like in previous years.
Disliked: Breakfast was noticeably more modest compared to past years – no scrambled eggs, no omelette, and no sausages, which was a bit disappointing.

Linz perfection

Liked: Superb location on the historic square in the Old Town but my room was very quiet at night. Bed was extremely comfortable in a large and most tasteful room furnished with antique furniture. Bathroom was more than adequate. Staff were unfailingly helpful in every regard. Excellent buffet breakfast. All in all highly recommended and great value for money.
Disliked: The shower was a bit weak.

Liked: Quirky building. Good location.
Disliked: Unload from the car and the parking are a torture. The map to the park house is nothing like the reality. The room was facing a tall wall very close, not a pretty sight. Breakfast very poor. Receptionist at departure unfriendly and unhelpful. Quality pretty basic for the money. Overall very disappointing.
