Central downtown location with reasonable pricing and excellent rooms. Staff were extremely accommodating in meeting our needs.

Liked: Room and amenities. Accommodating and friendly staff.
Disliked: Access to hotel drive entrance not obvious.

The awesome Marriott in downtown...

Liked: > Awesome location in Downtown Austin> Contemporary room with all amenities that you expect - Yoga Mat was a bonus> The staff at the Restaurant Corinne was very attentive & friendly> Zanzibar Rooftop bar & pool with incredible views over Austin> Got a Pepsi for free from the bar staff > Convenience store located in the hotel
Disliked: > Incidental/Deposit fee surprise at check in, which was never advertised anywhere when booked> Front staff charged me the wrong amount at check in, always ask what will be charged before you give your card> Wifi is not free, unless you sign up to a Marriott Bonvoy account, which is also free > should have been advertised before check in> There is no buffet style for breakfast although I enjoyed the breakfast menu choices.

Very poor

Liked: The location was good. Exactly where we wanted to be. Staff at the front and at vallet was very friendly n kept offering water.
Disliked: Things were made unnecessarily difficult with the use of too much technology. We purchased access to the M LOUNGE but had trouble accessing it because our key cards were not programmed properly. Getting WiFi to work was another issue. We had to be on a line with tech support to get working. These little things are very simple and easy to get through in less pricey hotels

Liked: Close to airport, nice rooftop patio, make sure to make reservations, pool is nice rooms are cleaned
Disliked: Staff if completely unaligned and security of allowing keys to enter multiple rooms concerning
