Modern and low-key, Aura Hotel Brooklyn sits in the heart of Williamsburg—one of NYC’s most vibrant and artistic neighborhoods. This boutique hotel blends a relaxed vibe with urban convenience, offering a garden retreat just minutes from popular venues and nightlife spots. With free WiFi, patios, and in-room comforts like microwaves and coffee makers, it’s a solid base for concert-goers looking to mix music and city adventure.

Why Concert-goers love it

Aura Hotel Brooklyn is just 2 miles from the iconic Barclays Center and close to a number of smaller indie venues around Williamsburg. You can walk to the subway in under 15 minutes, making post-show travel back to the hotel simple—even late at night. Rooms are tucked away from street noise, offering a quiet, cozy recovery space after a high-energy night. With check-in starting at 3:00 PM and a relaxed 11:00 AM check-out, there's time to sleep in after the encore.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends heading to Brooklyn for a show weekend
- Solo travelers catching a dream concert in the city
- Couples looking for a stylish but affordable weekend base
- Fans who need a quiet zone to crash after the crowd
- Budget-conscious music lovers wanting comfort without overspending

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t have on-site dining, Williamsburg is full of walkable late-night eateries, from ramen joints to taco spots open into the early hours. Each room includes a microwave and fridge, great for midnight snacks. Coffee machines are in-room, and there are plenty of nearby cafes for a slow, post-concert brunch.

Nightlife Options

Williamsburg is packed with nightlife—within walking distance you'll find bars, lounges, and rooftop spots with craft cocktails and even live music. The hotel itself is a quiet zone, so you can explore the scene and return to peace. Great for those who want access to the action but don’t want to sleep above it.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s location and value for money. Many mention that it’s clean, quiet, and ideal for a short Brooklyn stay. Reviewers also highlight the comfortable beds, helpful staff, and convenient access to public transit and venues.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests wish the hotel had more on-site amenities like a bar or breakfast option. A few found the walk to the subway a bit long late at night, so rideshare apps might come in handy after a show.

The Bottom Line

Aura Hotel Brooklyn is a smart pick for concert-goers who want a cool, quiet, and connected place to recharge between shows in Brooklyn.

We stayed here after finding it on the map - showing a close proximity to the Barclays Center. Never again, for the money - I'll stay in Manhattan and commute. The staff was friendly, but it just seemed really shady here. Breakfast was absolutely terrible.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: Short blankets; TV channels missing volume; strange neighbors; no security; not enough towels; terrible breakfast; rollaway bed was old.

DO NOT STAY HERE !!

Liked: Nothing !!! The entire experience was horrible !
Disliked: The location is in the middle of a trashy neighborhood, absolutely no parking, no breakfast, the moldy SMELL in every room and hallway! The front desk so unprofessional and rude! No housekeeping my entire stay! Mold in bathrooms, Blood on the shower curtains, dust everywhere, nothing worked, no cable and tv kept shutting off and on, phones don’t work to call down to front desk, stains on bedding! It was horrible.

Overall this property is a...

Liked: The property was nice. It has a lounge area if you need to sit and wait for check in or a uber ride etc. Most of the staff were great. Whatever you ask, they were able to do.
Disliked: There was no continental breakfast. There is only 1 elevator. When towels were brought some had dingy stains or make up like stains on them. Some of the linen had stains on them as well. Housekeeping got rude because I put my dirty towels and linen in her dirty bin.

Very good

Liked: Big and moreorless clean room with very basic kitchen and fridge and coffee maker, lot of storage space. Good and relatively quiet and safe location. Daily cleaning and towels change. I would choose the same hotel next time, it was very ok.
Disliked: A/C worked well, but very noisy. There is almost no equipment in the kitchen. The view from the room and balcony was zero - directly to the wall of next house.
