Glad it was one night

Disliked: The food was poor, everything tasted the same- deep fat fried. The room was small and very basic, which is fine, but the garden view room basically is road side- we didn’t see any garden.

Would return to this hotel!

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful and friendly; dining room and breakfast very good
Disliked: Room was in separate annex building down the street.. perfectly nice room but missed the hotel amenities…

This is a unique location,...

Liked: The location. Tranquil and easy to get to local attractions.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't marvellous but it was OK.

Very good

Liked: Good but short beds, proper walk-inn shower with full height adjustment. Dinner and breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Room quite cramped, beds too short, breakfast not included in stay but at added cost which wasn't good value for money.

Liked: Pleasant hotel with very helpful staff and excellent restaurant
Disliked: Needs a little modernisation but adequate for one night

Great breakfast but small room

Liked: We were met by the receptionist who had a dry sense of humour and a nice way about her. The property is very isolated but situated in a beautiful area with great scenery all around it. Our stay included a hearty buffet breakfast which set us up for the day. Next to the bar area there is a lounge with a huge TV which I'm sure would be very popular if there are any sports events happening during your stay
Disliked: The main drawback we had was the size of the room and bathroom which was quite small but as we were only staying the one night we accepted it but if we were booked in for longer this would have proved difficult. The room and bathroom though were clean and functional so we would not be put off using this property again on a future visit if we had a bigger room
