Great value, great location, not...

Liked: Everything listed on the website was true and the location is excellent. The mini bar prices were very reasonable as well. Beds were comfortable. The value for money is good. The TV's are modern and the WiFi works well. The bathrooms are VERY nice - they have been done really well. Also the amenities products are good quality and they do bar soap not pump rubbish so that is also nice.
Disliked: There are no fly screens on any of the windows so guests cannot open the windows for fresh air. The decor is revolting and totally mismatched. There are NO facilities. No bar, no restaurant, no room service, no pool, no sporting or gym facilities. How on earth this property obtained a 4.5 star rating is simply astounding. The property should not be advertised as a hotel it should be marketed as an up market guest house. And to be fair the current owner is not responsible for the architectural vandalism that has been done when the former convent was converted into a 'hotel'. They bricked up all the fireplaces and removed all the charm from the venue. The fact that you can't even get breakfast is very poor, especially on a cold morning! The lift is also a death trap. If you are looking for a cheap option in a great location then this property works just set your expectations low and you will not be disappointed.

Disliked: Wasn't really anything I could say was bad, hallways and door frames could do with some paint but doesn't really affect anything.

Liked: Able greeted me with a smile. He was kind, efficient and helpful. The property is immaculate, well serviced and comfortable. Communication was excellent. Parking is easy.
Disliked: Not something I didn’t like, but as a single woman, you cant really safely walk in and out at dinner at night as it’s a little bit further out of the city centre. I did have car to drive but finding a park is challenging on a Saturday night. On a positive note.. being higher up meant that The view from my private balcony was stunning.
