Liked: Great old building. Our room had great views of the city and was only a short 7 minute walk to plenty of restaurants & shops.

Abrupt and unfriendly service

Liked: We got a premium suite with 2 beds. Size was decent and extra sofa and large TV was a plus however any positives were far outwayed by the management
Disliked: First of all the guy at the front desk was working 7 days a week and very tired and when we checked in he told us they had strict policies on late check out because they had to use outside staff to prepare the rooms and didn’t want to incur extra fees if guests were not out strictly by 10. I find this policy very negative and on the morning of our exit he was running around threatening to apply late fees which i find very rude given the staff were busy cleaning other rooms. This is not a good value property and I would never recommend it

A terric way to see...

Liked: The general manager James was amazing. He greeted us on arrival, giving us loads of information on the hotel, local area and available activities. During our stay we had additional questions which he provided great detail to. He was quite pleasant and helpful to the greatest degree. Free parking was available on site, and the room had a handy fridge. We had access to the verandah as well as a lounge and small library which we made use of.
Disliked: It was a shame that we could not stay longer.
