Great hotel at reasonable price

Liked: It's a great modern hotel, family room had 4 beds at reasonable (for Bergen) priceThe best thing - you can buy groceries/delicatessen and have your own meal in the downstairs cafe area, when you got tired of spending $300-400 for each meal for a family of 4 in this expensive town

Very stuffy room, but nice...

Liked: Great location, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Disliked: The rooms are so hot, even when it wasn’t hot outside. Windows can’t be opened, fans were provided but very noisy. The mattress on the top bunk of the bunk bed was way above the safety line, I was really worried my daughter would roll off. I had to position cushions and blankets along the edge of the bed to build a small barrier.

Disliked: Very little space for personal belongings and luggage. No drawers .

Disliked: My room was in the 4 th floor - room 422. Unfortunately the window cannot be opened. The room is extremely hot and humid. The temperature can raise up to 27 degree and feel stuffy. I have to leave the main door opened and wedged to remain in that room whenever possible. We asked for a change and not provided as there was no availability.No claustrophobic people can stay in that room. I should be given a partial refund for staying in that horrible room - 4 people family.

Hostel style room for outrageous...

Liked: Great location, good breakfast.
Disliked: We booked a family room and the room was different from the rooms booking and the hotel website advertise. Room was very small, we hardly fitted our luggage in with little space to walk. Bathroom was outdated, tiny, and toilet extremely close to shower enclosure. Given the price for the room, this was substandard and terrible value for money. The curtains were stained, there were holes in the walls where pictures are supposed to hang, screw holes on the beds were missing plastic caps. It all felt more like a hostel than a hotel. When I spoke to reception about the misrepresentation of the room on photos shown when booking, she just shrugged her shoulders and said that this is what we booked. I have seen more comfortable rooms in hostels. You have to pay extra for parking and have to let reception know in advance.

Okay but with some flaws

Liked: First I had a single room which was really very tiny. Than we had a family room for 3 with two normal beds and one sofa bed ( see below)luggage deposit was easy
Disliked: Very tiny single room ( not good value for the money paid) and in the family room a really uncomfortable sleeping sofa .
