Auckland Rose Park Hotel

I enjoyed the stay, but only having 2 tea bags was a bit off.

Liked: The restaurant was amazing and was a pleasure to eat in.
Disliked: The shower over the bath - was impossible for me to have a shower as I could not even get into it.

Liked: The bed were comfortable and the rooms were reasonably sound proof. The location was good
Disliked: We went as part of a conference and none of the staff talked to each other and they were really unorganised about people showing up the night before the conference. The catering was really bad in terms of labelling what allergies were in the food they used for the conference, with no labels on any of the food which did result in a minor allergic reaction, even when we asked them to rectify this it continued to be bad.There was also no microwaves for use anywhere

Great value and lovely service

Liked: The room was really nice and tidy. There’s a restaurant onsite. Service from the reception staff was really good and they were so so lovely :)free ring and less than a 10 minute drive to the city. Perfect base if you want to be just outside of the CBD but have easy access to it :)
Disliked: They were doing construction across the street from us and it was really loud. I honestly am pretty easy going but even with my headphones on I could still hear it. It was literally construction from 5 am to 2 pm every day. Definitely no fault of the hotel but just something to keep in mind!
