Auckland Rose Park Hotel

I enjoyed the stay, but only having 2 tea bags was a bit off.

Liked: The restaurant was amazing and was a pleasure to eat in.
Disliked: The shower over the bath - was impossible for me to have a shower as I could not even get into it.

Liked: Not sure why the room had two king single-size beds I was sure I booked one queen?, The room was very dark, even with lights on. but clean and worked for a quick work over night in Auckland.

Disliked: Really didn't like the restaurant staff needs training food was below par need a bar person who knows how to mix drinks very disappointed they could only make two cocktails

Enjoyable stay in handy location.

Liked: Comfortable and attractive room with modern bathroom.
Disliked: Another blanket would have made a difference as I was cold in bed. There was no electric blanket and the waffle throw added no warmth. I needed to increase the temperature on the heat pump but an extra blanket in the wardrobe would be more power efficient.

Liked: Location. Newly refurbished rooms. Very comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Bus to town right there. Good value for Auckland.
Disliked: Chromecast simply not working for more than a few minutes at a time - feed to room TV not fit for purpose. This needs fixing. Had two staff members up to room to sort out, but neither able to do so properly.No toilet brush.Traffic noise off Gladstone Road annoying, particularly early mornings - no double glazing.Our room was one with 2 double beds which did not leave much room for comfortable places to sit, other than on beds.
