Auckland Rose Park Hotel

I enjoyed the stay, but only having 2 tea bags was a bit off.

Liked: The restaurant was amazing and was a pleasure to eat in.
Disliked: The shower over the bath - was impossible for me to have a shower as I could not even get into it.

Liked: We had a large and comfortable room with 2 double beds. The Breakfast was great, well cooked with a lot of choice. Good dinner options too. Nice surroundings.
Disliked: Loved the pool area, but it was unheated.

Liked: Good-sized room. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: The hotel accommodation was great. The restaurant meal was very disappointing. We'd go back to the hotel but not eat at the restaurant again.

Rooms are quite good if...

Liked: The rooms were a decent size, clean and have recently been renovated.
Disliked: The dining area felt and smelled stuffy. Water was dripping from the ceiling with buckets to catch the dripping water next to the elevator. Staff did bare minimum service. That wouldn’t have mattered too much but we’ve been travelling around NZ for the past 2 weeks and the staff everywhere else were going above and beyond. You felt the difference in service.
