Auckland Airport Kiwi Motel, Auckland

Decent for the price.

Liked: Room was cheapish. Staff were lovely when we were there. They have a resteraunt on site too which is awesome. Location is nice and not really busy on that side of town and parking is free which is a bonus in Auckland. We stayed at another motel for over double the price and wish we had of stayed here instead our whole trip.
Disliked: Heat pump/air conditioner didn’t work, toilet was coming off the wall and would bang everytime you sat on it. Walls aren’t too thick so can kind of hear people beside you in the next room but was a problem for us could be for some though.

Disappointing

Liked: Beds were comfortable
Disliked: Basic kitchen supplies and needed a clean an didn't smell or feel fresh could not connect tv to sky Netflix

Liked: Bed and pillows were fantastic
Disliked: A little difficult to understand where the reception staff was telling me to drive to find my room - the driveway area has some construction around it.My room was close to the road, and heavy vehicles made the bed shake a little.

It was not an enjoyable...

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Disliked: The shower cubicle was broken and coming away from the wall, the water only had 2 temperatures - freezing cold or scalding hot. When I tried to shower, i burnt myself. There was no point in continuing with the shower and we ended up going to a family members house to shower. I advised the receptionist of the issues with the shower and all I was told was that this would be looked into, which actually isn't good enough. There was limited parking due to the containers taking over most of the car park, and cars were blocked in due to not be able to get past other parked cars and the containers.

Passable

Disliked: May ladies at front desk could explain things better they pretty much rushed me telling me drive around the building and park my car but didn't tell where my room was or how to get there I was abit lost.

Low cost = low standard.

Liked: accommodates family and has onsite parking.
Disliked: The kitchen was covered in ants.
