Worth a stay for the...

Liked: Efficient check in, large room with reasonably comfortable beds. Coffee machine and large tv with good selection of channels. Air/heating unit worked well and was pretty quiet. Good breakfast next door at Au Coin du Rocher.
Disliked: Bathroom was quite small and could have used a clothes hook on the back of the door.

Good value and nice staff!

Liked: The location is close to La Mauricie National Park. We arrived in the morning and the room was ready for us to check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk Christopher was very friendly and helpful! The cleaning crew was also very nice and polite!
Disliked: The AC was a bit old and noisy.

Liked: I do not think there was breakfast included. I was not pleasantly surprised by the exterior but the inside was a little better. Clean but and well maintained but I did notice some mold and rust in the bathroom.
Disliked: The mold and rust in the bathroom. Otherwise the place was fairly clean. It does not have the bells and whistles as others, but it is Shawinigan, so I was not expecting much. Would however consider decreasing the price as they were charging almost the same as other well known hotels.
