Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Liked: Very friendly staff. Located just off the highway. Clean and comfortable. Great shower, clean bed, spacious room.
Disliked: Two entrances, front and back. Only one had a ‘don’t disturb sign’. But I wasn’t disturbed though.

Modest hotel in Shawinigan
Liked: Ok for a short stay, room and bed are big plus there are two sinks.
Disliked: Room is old, ruined and no breakfast available.

Our room was clean and...
Liked: It all seemed a bit run down.. keeping it open until it's over... no breakfast, no desk staff, no one around, just VERY clean rooms we used and then left... a bit spooky really... roads and grass showing abandonment ...
Disliked: A personal touch, a hello... missing...

It was a nice hotel...
Liked: Room was large. There were entrances from the outside and inside. It was nice for once to be on the first floor. The pool looked nice, but didn't have time to go in it. The person at the front desk was excellent! He was very kind and was able to help us with any need we could have, but he was able to speak English, which in a French speaking province and not being able to speak French, made the stay 100% better!
Disliked: There was a huge hotel going up next to the little hotel we were in. Kind of took away from the aesthetics. The bed was a bit soft for me as I need a firmer mattress. The town stores closed at a very early time, So when we would get back from the park, it was difficult to either get food to eat at the hotel or to eat out somewhere. It also didn't help that we arrived on St. John the Baptist holiday, which was a 2-day holiday in Quebec, which most of the stores were closed! Thank God for McDonald's! Unfortunately, there was no complimentary breakfast.
