Great Location and place for...

Liked: Everything was great, location, comfortable beds. The washrooms were clean. Value for money. I got the dorm with a balcony with a city view.Will definitely stay next time I visit quebec city. Downtown starts where the Hostel is located and everything is nearby, at walkable distance. They have a Gym, game zone like pac man/table tennis/foosball, mini theatre, relaxing zone.
Disliked: Breakfast options weren't great. Just juice/2 eggs/yogurt. Make sure to have your own breakfast arrangements as they give just 1 pk of each. Someone stole my padlock I kept in bed while packing my stuff, that's the only bad part

Best value economical place to...

Liked: Breakfast was little packages suitable for take away or eat in. Juice or coffee, yogurt, cheese, granola bar and 2 hard boiled eggs, all direct from the fridge. Fast simple, no fuss.
Disliked: Bathroom a little crowded (stayed in dorm).
