Great hostel!
Liked: Convenient and friendly. Room was fairly spacious. So close to everything. Atmospheric house that looked like staff took pride in it.
Disliked: Lots of steps. But, I was helped with my bag. No lift but one for luggage. I have a bad hip at the moment. Shower stall very small. I had a terrible snoring person in my room! But, that can’t be helped!! That’s all!

Good for the price is...
Liked: The free breakfast was a bonus as everything downtown is super expensive at a restaurant.
Disliked: This place doesn't have air conditioning.

Very good
Liked: Nice location, wide room&bed, breakfast, co-working space, bright inside!
Disliked: Most of the showers didn't work(no hot water or even no water) so, I needed to go to all the showers to check the condition

Nice location, well-equipped, great experience...
Liked: Excellent location, just a 10-15 min walk to the main tourist attractions. It's well-equipped, organised, and the staff are helpful and approachable. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. There are many common areas where you can hang around. Lots of breakfast options.
Disliked: It was great except the shelf on my dorm bed was a bit dusty. I usually would not mind the little things but I have allergies. I also wished the bed curtains for the dorms would close all the way so you could have full privacy even though you were sharing the room with others.

Loved everything but the lack...
Liked: Location = Excellent! Right in the middle of old town, walking distance to everything. I was there for a conference at the Conference Center, and it was a quick 8 minute walk. Felt very safe. Breakfast = Good, they had coffee, cereal, bagels, toast, boiled eggs, alternative milks, and baked beans. 7-10am. Lobby/Lounge space: they had several areas to sit and relax, with comfortable chairs and a pleasant atmosphere. There were social events advertised, but due to my schedule I couldn't attend. Room: I was a in a 4 bed dorm, there were curtains by each bed, although the curtains on the bottom bunk didn't close all the way due to the placement of the ladder to the top bunk. It was fine in the all female dorm, but I imagine might be weird if there were men in the room. There was a bright LED light, electric outlets and USB ports above the bed as well. Be prepared to walk a lot, and carry your luggage up and down the stairs, including the little stairways in between the big stairways, as there is no elevator, and it's a huge building, like a labyrinth. It was very clean.
Disliked: It was too hot! There was no AC. We had huge windows in the room, but only one opened, and only about a foot. They did provide a room fan, and you can borrow an individual fan if you leave your ID. Outside temps were beautiful, around the 70s and 80s when I was there, but even though it cooled down at night, it didn't cool down in the room. I stayed for 5 nights, which was too much for that heat. I didn't sleep well. If I go in the summer again, I'd choose a place with AC! Winter is probably fine.

Disliked: Perhaps slightly cheaper. Was expensive compared to others for private non ensuite.

Comfortable stay in Quebec Old...
Liked: The accommodation is strategically located in Quebec Old Town.
Disliked: It could get a bit hot if the weather warms up as the room does not have an air-cond.
