Clean, good value and location!!

Liked: The breakfast was OK, consisting of bagels, toast, cereal, juice, and hard boiled eggs. The location is pretty good, just within the old Quebec City gates, at the top of a hill. There were a couple of noisy school groups staying there, but I wasn’t put in a room with them.
Disliked: Wi-Fi could have been better.

Liked: Location was great! It wasnt on the busy main streets with the pubs and restaurants but a little walk into it which is totally fine as it helps keeping the hostel more quiet & relaxing
Disliked: Staff were all accommodating and helpful, they even lent us umbrellas. They can answer any queries on site and even online before arriving there.

Liked: Good location in Quebec City
Disliked: We arrived by car and checked in at around 21:00. We parked our vehicle in the street and immediately asked the staff member where we should park legally. He checked where we had parked our vehicle and informed us that it could remain there but we should move it to a parking garage by 09:00 the next morning. When we came to move the vehicle the next morning, there was a fine of CAD$92 (issued at about 06:30 that morning). The staff member apologized, but that didn't help. The staff should be properly informed regarding the parking requirements outside the Auberge.

Disliked: No slippers in the room, no airconditioner that the guests can control, no tissue in the bed area (it is only in the shower), no shampoo
