Convenient and Reasonable.

Liked: Overall I enjoyed the location of the hostel, it’s right in the center of Old Quebec. The breakfast was Amazing.
Disliked: I did not like that there was no AC, they had fans available but the one in my room wasn’t working. I also signed up for an English Walking Tour but the lady kept switching from English to French and made it hard to understand.

Great stay, I definitely recommend

Liked: Loved the many public spaces, it was clean, the breakfast included was one of its best feature. Very well located, in the middle of downtown, it's quiet.
Disliked: We went there during the summer and there was no AC in our room (private bedroom), but for the price we paid, I think it's fair. There was a fan in the room though. This is probably my fault as I didn't fully read the whole page, but there are no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, and they don't offer some at the reception. There's some kind of soap in there, probably a body soap.

Great location and pleasant vibe...

Liked: The room was very clean. The full size lower bunk was nice for my husband and me -- we could sleep together and neither had to climb to the top bunk. It was quiet with a room overlooking the interior courtyard -- until it wasn't. The scene in the hostel was very pleasant with a wide variety of different kinds of guests -- various ages, races, budgets, interests -- who were pleasant and respectful of each other and the space. The location was perfect with easy access on foot to all we wanted to see and do.
Disliked: The room was crowded with the big bunk bed, and there was limited space for our luggage -- one small table/desk, and one small bedside table with a table fan (absolutely necessary in the very hot room with little air circulation) that was taped together and had a broken switch to control its rotation. The worst part of the stay was the final night when a car with an alarm was parked in the alley below us and repeatedly went off throughout the night -- at least 30 times. No one moved the car, called for a tow. The breakfast scene was pleasant with happy people filling up, but the quality was decidedly mediocre.

Liked: location was nice, close to main attraction. Free walking tour available at reception was a nice addition to our trip. Basic breakfast facities helped to engoy walking around till the linch time.

Good place in the heart...

Liked: I stayed for two nights at Auberge Internationale de Québec – HI Canada and had an excellent experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Old Town, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The breakfast was perfect, everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both short and longer stays.

Liked: Nearly the comfort of a hotel, though less expensive than hotels in the area. clean, spacious, well preserved room and common areas. limited breakfast, but ok to have a start. They remind you of not having air condition, which combined with free cancellation allows you to reconsider arriving.Good walking distance to everything: train station, bus, old town...
Disliked: no air condition is fine - but why can only a tiny piece of window be opened?? Would the full window open, the night air would be good enough to cool the room.Outside heat period: go there again.
