Homey & Holiday feel atmosphere
Liked: Amazing family hotel and hostel. Spotlessly clean and my dorm even had a south facing balcony to chill. Amazing atmosphere with a homey and holiday feel, best free breakfast ever. 5 types of quality artisan breads with real butter. The jam marmalade and peanut butter all looked homemade & they make there own Korean pancakes with quality syrup and more options to choose from (Buffet breakfast )Self catering kitchen with a 3 course meal vending matchine. Dinning room and sofa area with TV.I've travelled the world and this is the best budget friendly hotel I've ever stayed in ever!!!Will return next time in Montreal.
Disliked: The coffee could be improved even an option to buy a Cappuccino/ latta would be nice

Perfect location to get to...
Liked: Beautiful old house in the perfect location. Vibe of the hostel was older and there were several families staying so definitely not a party hostel. But you’re close to so many bars, clubs, and restaurants; it’s not hard to find a party. Free breakfast was nice - hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, toast, oatmeal. Terrace was gorgeous but keep an eye out for private parties and wasps (got swarmed while eating charcuterie)
Disliked: The kitchen closes at 9pm and the common areas close at 11pm.

My friends and I stayed...
Liked: It was affordable, breakfast was nice, we liked the terrace a lot, nice location, and lovely staff. The rooms and showers were clean.
Disliked: Some of the towels we were given were stained. Also, having one key per room was inconvenient.

Fun, friendly, I’ll be back!
Liked: Great neighbourhood, close to transit (bus&metro), grocery store down the block, nearby restaurant and street music scene, rooftop terrace, friendly, bilingual, helpful staff.
Disliked: I liked it, but it’s very much not wheelchair accessible- many many many stairs. It is a hostel, so if you expect what a hostel usually has, this is a great one! Be aware, you may be on a top bunk, but they are comfortable bunks, there are plenty of washrooms and power bars at each bunk. Security on each room means you need two hands to open the dorm door, but it does mean your stuff is safer.

Nice. friendly hostel-type accommodation. Good...
Liked: Room small but fine. Communal area for DIY breakfast was great.
Disliked: Entrance to our room was via door directly onto street. Quite steep steps with large drop off final step to pavement. Difficult with heavy cases.

Good
Liked: We had a great stay, the staff was friendly, our room and the amenities were clean and the breakfast was fantastic! We didn't have much time to enjoy the rooftop but it was also great!
Disliked: There was an issue with the AC in our room for the whole time we were there. It kept on turning off after a few seconds. Given that we were in Montreal during the warm days (30+ degrees), it was difficult to sleep without AC.
