Liked: The room was bright. The balcony was nice. The have a parking lot, so it is convenient if you go by car.
Disliked: The bed was small. It is not very clean. No towels, bring your own. The walls are poorly insolated you here all the noises around. The common area, especially the furniture, dirty.

Liked: The hostel was great, I had my own room (which was very small but very clean) and the showers were big and spacious
Disliked: The single room was tiny, but it wasnt such an issue

Liked: I stayed another week. That says it all. This area in Magog by the hostel is so walkable. Not nomads here but this is a great place for nomads. Great value for price.

The place to stay in...

Liked: This is a great hostel with a big kitchen and a grocery store across the street. The staff is nice. There is a lot of nice common area. One of which is a library type work area on the second floor. There is a cafe to get meals and coffee. I was able to get schoolwork done easily in this environment. The area is very walkable with eateries just around the corner. I can catch the bus to Sherbrooke for the day from here. There is a lot of nice outdoor space I haven’t gotten to use because it has been cold and rainy. There is an elevator for my big bag. There is enough room in the dorms for bags. This is the most reasonably priced place in the Eastern Townships.
Disliked: Too rainy during my stay.

The itcy is beautiful! So...

Liked: Grocery story right across the street. Hostel fully equipped and very clean.
Disliked: I didn't see where/how to make coffee. I could have asked at the recetption but instead just used a broken small French type pot hwere the top screws on. There were no baskets for the two large coffee makers in the kitchen.
