Atomic Motel

Great concept but disappointed.

Liked: Liked decor idea. We had looked forward to staying there.
Disliked: Room smelled. Looked like a ten year old or a drunk painted the room. The room simply required a good cleaning. Carpet needed to be replaced. Mattress was hard. No AC. Really disappointed. Considered checking out and going to another motel. I was concerned about bedbugs and looked for evidence of them.

Liked: Cute and quirky
Disliked: $170+ per night for an uninsulated room with no air conditioning. Road noise was terrible. We had to run a stand alone fan the 2nd night in order to get some sleep and ended up with a sore throat. Small queen bed. Not enough parking

Great for a one night...

Liked: Loved the quirky 60s vibe. Friendly staff, comfy bed. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment. Location ok. About a mile walk to historical district.
Disliked: Bathrooms could do with updating. A blind at the window would be good as only curtains so during the day people can look straight into the room.
