We thoroughly enjoyed our stay....

Liked: The location is wonderful-perfect midtown location right on the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. You can use Aloft’s amenities, although we didn’t get a chance to.
Disliked: The bathroom is a bit small, no counter space.

Perfect place for a quick...

Liked: Front desk staff were terrific! Great location, room was nice - bathroom was a bit dated and could use some repairs but I’m not complaining, we had a great stay.
Disliked: Parking could be limited - we stayed in late October so it wasn’t too much of an issue but could foresee it being tight during the main beach season.

Unfortunate!

Disliked: I have stayed at Atlantic Oceanfront Inn (4501 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842) the last two years, for labor day weekend. This year I booked an ocean front suite, thinking it was going to be an "upgrade" from last year's basic ocean front room and boy was I disappointed. I'm really unsure if our room was even actually " cleaned " upon us checking in. The sink in the bathroom was dirty, there was a baby oil sticker on the shower wall, there was food on the pans in the oven, the beds looked slept in, there looked to be "mold" on the ceiling/ and on the shower curtain/ ac unit, the toilet was duct taped and ended up having to call down to the front desk because our shower wouldn't work.After several attempts reaching out to the hotel. The hotel manager, Vincent, finally got in touch with me. Vincent offered a simple " apology " for the conditions of the room, and the unpleasant experience. Was not offered any sort of refund on the room/ discount or billing adjustment. I do not feel the managers response to this was adequate. I felt my concerns/ complaint was not taken seriously by the hotel manager so the likelihood of us staying at this hotel again are slim to none.
