Liked: Beautifully clean. Well decorated and maintained room. Nice and quiet.
Disliked: The shower water pressure wasn’t brilliant. Breakfast not served until 0830 but that seems quite normal for Eastbourne.

Exceptional

Liked: Breakfast was amazing and certainly helped us feel full for the day and didn't need much of a lunch to get to dinner. The rooms were spacious and luxurious and very clean. The views were amazing and the owners were brilliant!
Disliked: Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Beautifully furnished room with stunning...

Liked: We loved the spacious room with the beautiful view of Eastbourne sea front and pier. The room is bathed in natural sunlight through a large 3-aspect bay window which looks straight out to sea. The bed was very comfortable, and the seating area with coffee table also to our liking. The location is stunning, and within walking distance of all the main attractions in Eastbourne. The hosts were very accommodating and advised us on several local attractions, in addition giving us valuable assistance with parking. We were served an excellent cooked breakfast each morning.
Disliked: We couldn't get i-player to work in our room despite connecting to the internet, but we did not ask for assistance with this as it is only a minor issue.

Pleasant stay in a convenient...

Liked: Friendly welcome, good communication before arrival. Plentiful hot water, generously sized towels. Sensible number of hangers and drawers; easily enough for two people for a couple of nights. Breakfast served quickly. Quiet room on ground floor. Hotel seemed pretty full but we were not disturbed by noise from anyone else. Sunny dining room looking over the sea. Fresh milk available for tea and coffee if needed. Good location for central Eastbourne.
Disliked: Room and bathroom were small (as we had expected from description) and although hosts had squeezed in as much as possible, it was cramped for two. My husband (five foot nine) must have hit the dangling light fitting at least three times a day, getting dressed/undressed! Tiny shower cubicle made showering a bit challenging, although shower itself was reasonably powerful with lots of hot water.. Mattress too soft for me (although that's a very personal thing). Not easy to blow dry hair/do make up - either stand at mirror in the very darkest part of the room, or in bathroom with very little space to put anything down.
