A real Highland Hotel, full...

Liked: Perfect location right next to the station. The staff were very genial and friendly - I was given a free upgrade to a better room. Lovely lounge area with a roaring wood fire. A building full of character with lots of local and historical ambience. The Bothy Bar was open in the evening for good food and nice local beer.
Disliked: The sash window in the room had long ago lost its cords, meaning that I needed to find something solid to prop the window open with at night.The cooked breakfast was ok but not brilliant.

Exceptional

Liked: The beautiful entrance and the ability to park and access the hotel from the rail station. The welcoming we always receive as well as our many friends who stay there as the hotel are very group friendly. We enjoy using the internal bar and impressive dining hall for our events. A nice recent touch was the fire which was on in the evening in the open fireplace. It was a cold evening so it went down really well. Breakfasts are great and traditionally Scottish. We all love staying there and are looking forwards to our next stay.
Disliked: I didnt want to leave!
