Liked: Breakfast was typical, but decent.The young woman who was at the reception desk the morning of our check-out was concerned about the problems we had, and said she would mention them to her colleague, and I hope she does.The price was right.
Disliked: There was nobody at the reception desk though we came at the right time. And there was never anyone there until the next day. The instructions to get the room key were very confusing. I sent two emails requesting information on where to park when the small lot was full, and neither were answered. There was no coffee or tea in the room, something I specifically look for, and which it said was available in the main body of the listing. I would have asked for a kettle and a tea cup, but there was no one to help.

Comfortable large bed.

Liked: Very comfortable large bed and spotlessly clean room.Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast with variety of coffee and food options. Easy check in when arriving late. Only 10 min walk to Essen city centre.
Disliked: Parking as there are only 6 spaces in the hotel car park. We were lucky to find a free parking space on a nearby road. A kettle in the room would be useful.

Great stay for a night...

Liked: Its a perfect 3 star hotel, the room was clean , the breakfast was good. It is 1.5 kilometer to centre and christmas market.I'll definitely be staying here again. Nothing to complain about the room.
Disliked: Parking, if you come at night eventhough its free parking, there is no space to park, and some guests park taking two spaces, which was very annoying ! very inconsiderate !
